We have been been distributing parcels since August 2023 via weekly community fridge, individual requests, local schools and Women’s Refuge.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY NON-FOOD ITEMS IN THE MOSQUE WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORISATION.

Please ensure all items have a long shelf life.

No expired, used, opened, rebagged or damaged food items can be accepted.

Recycle Your Ink Cartridges

We’ve partnered with Recycle4Charity to make good use of all your used ink cartridges and convert them into life-saving foodbank items,

Did you know that by recycling ink cartridges you are not only stopping them from going into a landfill site but also helping us raise money?

For each ink cartridge recycled we will receive

up to a £2 donation.

Simply drop off your used ink cartridges in a sealed, labelled bag in the foodbank donation baskets at both the men’s and women’s entrances.

We cannot accept any toner/laser cartridges.

Receive a collection box for your home, business or office.

You can do the same if you’re back at the office, or if you go through cartridges quickly at home/business

How it works

	Collect your cartridges Keep a bag to one side and watch them fill up. Once you’ve got a few, head to recycle4charity.co.uk
	Pick us as your Charity Once you’re on Recycle4Charity.co.uk, make sure you choose Ashton Community Fridge and we’ll get a donation
	Post your cartridges! Recycle 4 Charity will provide you with a print-off FREE post label, meaning you don’t have to pay a penny to send your used cartridges off.
	Mission Accomplished! All your cartridges will be ethically recycled, and the company will send a donation our way.

Ramadan Food-Box 2025

Ramadan is almost here and for the second year, we’re distributing food boxes filled with the essentials for nutritious Iftari and Sehri meals.

No one should experience hunger during this blessed time.
